Razer Blade 14 - 2024

The Razer Blade 14 is an excellent choice for those who want high framerates and stunning visuals in a gaming laptop they can take anywhere.

Folks who want the most performance will be better suited by something in Lenovo’s Legion line, which has some size-competitive options. And even people who really want the Razer Blade 14 can get close with last year’s model. The 2024 Razer Blade 14 is a great machine dragged down by its unwieldy pricing, and with little novelty on deck it fails to stand out.

A beautifully crafted gaming laptop that gets the most out of the components stuffed inside it. Though a high price tag even versus similarly premium alternatives leaves me wanting a bit more for the money.

While it’s a bit pricey, the Razer Blade 14 makes for a great portable gaming laptop or mobile editing station. We just wish it had a built-in microSD card reader.

If you have no interest in CPU AI or Wi-Fi 7, then the small GPU performance uptick on the 2024 Blade 14 might win you over. If not, then the visually identical 2023 model offers essentially the same performance for less.

The compact nature of the Razer Blade 14 (2024), combined with its powerful performance, 240Hz refresh rate, and long battery life, make it an ideal traveling companion for gamers, students, and even business types looking to play in their downtime. It can handle the latest graphically demanding games with ease while still being less expensive than other models in the Blade line. If it only had an Ethernet port, it would provide all of the connections you need.
