Brutal Chess is inspired by the once popular "Battle Chess" released by Interplay circa 1988. It's features a simple gameplay. It does make use of OpenGL, so it may run slow on slower PCs or those without OpenGL graphics support.
You can disable reflections and shadows to speed up the game by hitting ESC and selecting graphics from the menu. Your move history of your last game is placed within a BrutalChessPortable\Data\settings\stdout.txt file.
