Something to look forward to: Amazon Prime Day takes place next month, which is good news for Prime subscribers looking to grab some freebie games. The retail giant is giving away 15 extra titles from now until July 26, including classics such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 – The Sith Lords and Hitman Absolution.
Amazon recently announced that its next discount-filled Prime Day will take place on July 16 and 17. As usual, the company is offering a slew of extra free games to subscribers alongside its usual selection of freebies.
The games will be available in batches from now until June 27. They can be redeemed on specific platforms, including Epic Games, Amazon Games App, and GOG.
Right now, subscribers can download and keep Deceive Inc (Epic Games Store), Tearstone: Thieves of the Heart (Legacy Games), The Invisible Hand (Amazon Games App), and Call of Juarez (GOG).
From June 27, the giveaway adds Forager (GOG), Card Shark (Epic Games Store), Heaven Dust 2 (Amazon Games App), and Soulstice (Epic Games Store). Soulstice only came out in 2022 and is still priced at $39.99 on Steam, where it has a Mostly Positive rating, so that looks like a good deal.
From July 3, subscribers can grab Wall World (Amazon Games App), Hitman Absolution (GOG), and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (GOG). Absolution is over a decade old now, but still great fun to play.
The final batch of titles is arguably the best: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (Epic Games Store), Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 – The Sith Lords (Amazon Games App), Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX (Epic Games Store), and Samurai Bringer (Amazon Games App). SW: KOTOR 2 remains an incredible RPG and is still one of the best Star Wars games of all time. TMNT, meanwhile, is a great tribute to the original 1987 side-scrolling beat-em-up that was a favorite in arcades at the time (this writer remembers it fondly).
There's also Prime Gaming's standard monthly section of giveaways, which this month includes Star Wars Battlefront II, Genesis Noir, Everdream Valley and Weird West Definitive Edition.
In addition to all those free games, Amazon is giving away its usual selection of gratis titles on the Luna cloud gaming service. This month it includes Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Metro Exodus, and Bee Simulator.
